Our Policies

No matter your rental type, please read through this page before you book/rent.

    1. No pets allowed in the building or studio. If we find that a renter has brought a pet into the building or studios, the shoot will be immediately terminated with no refund and the renter will be asked to leave.

    2. Renter must be present during the booking, renters and members can not give away hours to others unless via Shed Studios Gift Card.

    3. Studio doors must stay closed during booking.

    4. If the renter is having clients/talent show up please direct them to call (you) the renter to let them in.

    5. Do not leave the front door of the building propped open for more than a few minutes or without supervision.

    6. No smoking in the studio or building is permitted. If the renters, or anyone in the renter’s party is found smoking, the shoot will be immediately terminated with no refund and the renter will be asked to leave. Vaping is okay.

    7. All backdrops/seamless paper are free to use unless purposeful damage will be taking place. Any damaged (ripped, wet, etc.) paper is charged at $15 per 8 feet. This cost goes back to the purchase of more paper for your use/convenience.

    8. A representative from Shed Studios may be on site during your project but will not assist in loading or unloading or any tasks during your project.

    9. Music must stay at a respectful volume, if complaints are made by neighbors, the shoot will be immediately terminated with no refund and the renter will be asked to leave.

    10. No Filming or Photography can take place outside of the studio. That includes hallways, staircases and basement. If the renter, or anyone in the renter’s party is found in the basement, the shoot will be immediately terminated with no refund and the renter will be asked to leave.

    11. Renter may not sublease the Studio to any third party.

    12. Nails, tacks or staples may not be used in the walls or woodwork. If tape is used, it must be painter’s tape.

    13. Fireworks (including sparklers) are prohibited.

    14. Candles must be in holders that prevent wax from dripping on surfaces.

    15. Mini sessions must be booked under the mini session category.

    16. Glitter of any sorts is not permitted in the studios. If glitter is left in the studios a cleaning fee may apply.

    17. If excessive trash is made, renter must be taken out after booking.

    18. Renter must sweep or vacuum after every rental.

    19. Renter must properly lock studio doors, and shut green door after rental.

    20. Any breaking of mirrors and/or plants will result in a service fee of $100 - $200

    21. If furniture or a backdrop is set up, it must be put back in it’s original place.

    We allow rescheduling of reservations as close as 5 days before the reservation time.

    To reschedule go info@shedstudis.coto the initial confirmation email you received when reserving the space and follow the instructions given.

    If you feel there is a special circumstance for rescheduling within 5 days of your reservation time, please email us at info@shedstudios.co and we will do our best to accommodate.

    1. Your rental time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time. Reservation time must include set up, break-down, and clean up. The Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period to respect our fellow creative’s time and efforts.

    2. Any renter that goes any amount of time time past the original end time of their booking and they affect the next renter then the current renter will be charged an additional hour.

    3. Any renter that goes 15 minutes past the original end time of their booking and nobody was impacted the the tardiness will be charged for an additional hour.

    4. Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period. The equipment must be arranged to the approximate previous positions. If the studio requires additional cleaning after renter’s session, or there are any hard-to-clean material (e.g. glitter, oils, spills, confetti, make up, etc) left anywhere in the studio after Renter’s session, Renter will be charged a $100 cleaning fee*

    5. By renting the studio, Shed Studios has rights to "re-post" or use any content taken for marketing purposes. Credit will be given to the appropriate parties. Shed Studios does NOT own rights or licensing to any media. Rights to all still pictures, motion pictures, videotapes, photographs and sound recordings made within the premise of Shed Studios are retained by the creators of the media.

    6. The renter is responsible for any damage to the Studio including spills, scratches, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, fixtures, floors, or painted surfaces. The Studio and all furnishings and equipment therein must be left clean and in good condition, normal wear and tear excepted. Trash should be in trash cans, equipment returned to its proper place, and any larger trash disposed of in the dumpster downstairs. If the trash is full, you must take it home with you. If the Studio is not in the same condition when rented, Renter agrees to pay, as applicable (i) a minimum of a $100 cleaning fee (based on the amount of time required to clean the Studio at a rate of $100 per hour); and (ii) the cost to repair and replace any damage done to the Studio and the furnishings and equipment therein caused the Group.

    7. Please also note that Shed Studios facilities are private spaces; however, there are security systems in place that include cameras. Camera contents are never broadcast, shared, or used in any other way than to provide risk management for Shed Studios assets, employees, and customers. Your privacy is just as important to us as your safety and Shed Studios agrees to this promise of privacy. You and any associates that are with you as the “booking party” are hereby notified of these security systems. Tampering or in any way manipulating security system equipment may result in criminal charges.

    1. The Renter hereby accepts and assumes all responsibility for all risks associated with and/or resulting in his/her use of the premises and equipment (THIS INCLUDES ALL PERSONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RENTER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELEVANT GUESTS, MODELS, ASSISTANTS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, OR FRIENDS).

    2. The Renter freely accepts these risks and agrees to the terms of the Release, even if Shed Studios is found to be negligent or in breach of any duty of care or any obligation to the Renter. The Renter agrees responsibility for any loss (in the amount solely determined by Shed Studio’s ownership) or damage to the studio; equipment on premises of the business resulting from the Renter’s same (except for normal wear and tear).

    3. The Renter agrees to pay the costs of repair or replacement for any such loss or damage within 48 hours of a claim from Shed Studios LLC to the Renter.

    4. Use of Humano Studio’s facilities and equipment is at Renter’s own risk. Renter hereby waives rights to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and/or loss while on our premises.

    5. Renter agrees to leave the studio and adjacent grounds in the same condition, as they were when Renter arrived.

    6. Renters are solely responsible for any legal infractions Renter or members of Renter’s party make during the conduct of the scheduled booking, be they in our studio or elsewhere. This includes parking tickets, claims of personal abuse, or all other violation or citations, and legal action resulting from the conduct of the studio booking, taken at whatever time.

    7. Renters are solely responsible for the safety and well-being of any models, production assistants, or any other personnel accompanying Renter or engaged by Renter.
